Financial Help
Here at Meithrinfa Ogwen Cyf we take payments in different formats:
• Cash
• Chip and Pin
• Childcare Vouchers
• Direct into our Bank Account
Parents also pay by two methods for example childcare voucher and chip and pin to pay their balance.
Childcare Vouchers
You can opt to be part of the childcare scheme if your employer has agreed to take part. You will need to ask your Personel Department if the scheme is set up in your workplace.
Parents can request to take up to £55 per week (£243 per month or £220 if they are paid four weekly) exempt of Tax and National Insurance.
Parents make the savings by entering the salary sacrifice agreement with their employer. Working parents exchange part of their gross salary before Tax and National Insurance deductions. Being part of the scheme can offer families the potential savings of up to £2392 per family per annum, if both parents are part of the scheme.
Once you have registered to be part of the scheme you can pay for childcare for children under 15 or 16 if they are disabled. You can pay day nurseries, before and after school clubs, holiday schemes providing they are a registered .
Tax Credit
You can obtain additional help from HM Revenue and Customs through Working Tax Credit – Help with the costs of childcare WTC5.
