Meithrinfa Ogwen Cyf is a Private Day Nursery opened in April 2001 for children aged 3 months - 8 years old and is run by Mrs Delyth Jones. We are licensed by Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales to hold up to 41 children at any given time.

Before being transformed and our opening in April 2001 the building was the old Jones and Whitehead Electrical Contractors office and compound. They moved out to their new premises in Tregarth and work commenced January 2001 on the present building.

The building is purposed built and spacious, modern and designed for child safety with high levels of security and comfort. Features include non-slip flooring and safety flooring in the play area as well as CCTV and a coded entry door. We are registered for 41 boys and girls and are a bilingual setting. Our policy is that staff, children and visitors wear slippers in the building inside therefore slippers are advisable. This is to ensure that when the children and staff are playing of the floor we are safe in the knowledge that the carpet is clean of outdoor footwear and child friendly to play on.
